Head of commercial


ImVitro is looking for a mission-driven head of commercial  to join our Paris-based company that aims at improving the in vitro fertilization (IVF) workflow.   The ideal candidate has had at least 5 years industry experience in leading sales and commercial teams SaaS products ideally in the healthcare sector. 

Today, one of the main medical solutions to infertility is in vitro fertilization (IVF). And yet, its success rates only come close to 20-30%, which means patients have to repeat this difficult journey all too often, or give it up altogether. At ImVitro, we aim at automating the embryo evaluation which is at the heart of IVF to save doctor’s time, minimize variability and increase accuracy to make IVF more transparent, robust and reproducible. Our vision is to create an easier path to parenthood to ensure families can take their planning into their own hands.

ImVitro is an early stage Deep Tech start-up backed by US & European VC funds. It has created strong partnerships with more than 6 fertility centers in France, Spain and will expand to other countries. The company is backed  by several accelerator programs  (Entrepreneur First, Agoranov, TechCare), and was selected as one of Station F’s Future 40 2019 start-ups. 

Role and responsibilities

ImVitro is looking for an experienced leader to be our head of commercial.  You will be responsible for overseeing the business development. You will work closely with the CEO to plan and execute a commercial strategy & deliver  revenue starting in Europe and then expanding to other commercial regions.  You will be an evangelist  for ImVitro, helping to educate the market, and building deep relationships with both new and current customers and partners. The majority of ImVitro’s customer and partner engagements are with IVF centers.   You will collaborate closely with the CEO and the rest of the ImVitro team.   We are looking for someone who will be passionate, tenacious and ambitious, as well as have high-integrity, high energy, rigorous, low-ego, collaborative and personable. This is a unique opportunity to have a positive impact on society and build an extremely valuable business.  This role reports to the CEO and will play  a key leadership role at ImVitro. The Head of Commercial will oversee the following areas:

  • Generating revenue  – Outbound prospecting and sales. Develop and maintain CRM to convert new customers and drive high-growth revenues.
  • Expanding business – Ensuring that we maximize opportunity from our current customers.
  • Partnerships – Developing relevant partnerships for distributing and supporting ImVitro’s solution, substantially expanding our reach.
  • KPIs monitoring – Continuous monitoring of sales KPIs and SaaS metrics
  • Developing ImVitro’s brand: Building strong relationships with global customers and partners. Attend major embryology conferences, develop our marketing strategy in close collaboration with the rest of the ImVitro team.



  • Proven track record in sales within high-growth SaaS businesses. 
  • Track record of growing revenue at early stage SaaS businesses from $0-$5M+
  • Strong record of attracting, developing and retaining high-performing international commercial teams
  • Great written and oral communication skills in english
  • Experience with data-driven, ROI-based sales activities.  
  • 5+ years of experience as an operator in an early stage organization.. 


  • Experience selling in health tech SaaS
  • Good written and oral communication skills in Spanish.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in French.
